In this Fribourg work, the artist seeks to play with the specificities of the city as well as the scale of Switzerland, by highlighting the symbols that make this country a unique place. Fribourg, with its ancestral history, is truly the city of bridges, both physical and cultural. As is often said in Switzerland: "Outre Sarine" underlines the central role of Fribourg in Switzerland's cultural bridges.

It is here that Saype creates his latest work, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Fribourg Tourisme. The bridges of Saype thus become powerful metaphors, social and cultural connections that unite the inhabitants of Switzerland, strengthening the social fabric and celebrating diversity and national unity, making this country a unique place, where Fribourg stands out as a major, central and sumptuous city.”
