ETOILE POLAIRE

"Comfortably installed at the top of the mountain, a little girl has just closed her books to fall asleep under the stars. Before sleep makes her close her eyes, she contemplates the stars and experiences this ineffable moment where the infinity of the universe. Very often, it is by looking at the depth of the heavens that we become aware of our place on this tiny earth lost in the “plurality of worlds” (Fontenelle).

If some may be frightened by the “eternal silence of infinite spaces” (Pascal), the dizziness of the void gives way on the peaceful face of this little girl to a feeling of fullness which is none other than that of existing.
