I particularly admire the human commitment shown in saving men, women, and children at sea. As a former nurse, these values are dear to me and resonate deeply within me. Six years after my initial support of the association, this artwork aims to pay tribute to the men and women who risk their lives to save others at sea. More broadly, it invites us to reflect on our societies and their capacity for global collaboration, which I believe is the only way to manage migration issues.
