With this new fresco, Saype continues the poetic narrative he began on the peaks of Villars several years ago. After building, observing, contemplating, and drawing, the child returns to the forefront, ready to cross a threshold.

This time, he stands up. A simple gesture, yet one imbued with meaning: that of taking action. After gathering knowledge, comparing points of view, and nourishing his imagination, he leaves his tranquility to set off on an adventure. Standing on the grass of the ridges, he seems ready to walk toward the world, his gaze turned toward the horizon, that symbolic place where possibilities are born. This horizon embodies the promise of a path to be traced, the quest for a direction to follow, the momentum toward an open future without forgetting the past.​

 

Around him, the symbols of the previous works reappear: a cairn, books, a sketchbook, and a pillow. These elements are all representations of the progressive construction of the child, an interior architecture made of learning, experiences and dreams.
