In this Fribourg-based work, the artist seeks to play with the specific characteristics of the city as well as those of Switzerland as a whole, highlighting the symbols that make this country unique. Fribourg, with its ancient history, is truly the city of bridges, both physical and cultural. As is often said in Switzerland, "Beyond the Sarine" underscores Fribourg's central role in Switzerland's cultural bridges.

It is here that Saype has created his latest work, on the occasion of Fribourg Tourism's 125th anniversary. Saype's bridges thus become powerful metaphors, social and cultural connections that unite the people of Switzerland, strengthening the social fabric and celebrating diversity and national unity, making this country a unique place, where Fribourg stands out as a major, central, and magnificent city.
